This was the first measurable rain we have had in almost a month (June 13 we had 1.45" rain). What a blessing! There were big cracks in the ground. May was the wettest May on record and June was the dryest June on record...and July was starting out sooooooo hot and dry. We did not get our hopes up and the radar did not look real promising when we went to bed. What a joy to wake up to puddles and a gray cat looking at the gray sky!! =)

Welcomed Rain......
This was the first measurable rain we have had in almost a month (June 13 we had 1.45" rain). What a blessing! There were big cracks in the ground.
