My Computer is Sick.....

We had a lot of power blips last week with the storms. My battery back up has been dead for over a year, and I never got around to replacing it until last Thursday. My computer is doing all kinds of wierd things and I'm afraid the crash is just around the corner. I have all of my graphics and photos on an external hard drive, but I still dread what it might take to fix up the old friend. When we got home tonight, it didn't respond when I shook the mouse. "Are you alive??"....I asked it and it didn't answer me!! The light was on, but no response. I pushed the button, shut it of and restarted. It is alive ...for now...but will have to see how it is in the morning........
