The guys just got the "corn rollers" put on the combine. They will start harvesting "wet corn" ...probably on Monday. They sell it to local cattle feeders. They would have started today, but it can't be delivered until Monday and they can't leave it sit on a truck that long as it would be all stuck together by then. I guess it is testing around 30% moisture...great for feeders. We are anxious to get the downed corn picked, as we know it is going to be a long harvest........

I hope it gets off to a good start! We'll plan on coming out on Monday afternoon..maybe could you email out to Jacobsen's so Andy and Anna know the plan change? Don't know if I have their address anymore...(been trying to call you but has been continually busy...could be a problem with OUR phone again, too.)
