Whatever He Says To You, Do It.....

The best advice anybody ever gave was the advice Mary gave when Jesus was turning water into wine in John chapter two. Mary said to the servants in verse five, “Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.” You'll never get better advice than that.

My life is to please Jesus. If I please Jesus, it doesn't matter whom I displease. And if I displease Jesus, it really doesn't matter whom I please. And the way to please Jesus is to obey the Lord Jesus Christ. This simplifies our service. For instance, have you ever decided to go out to eat? And you get in the automobile and say, “Where do you want to go?”

And the answer comes: “I don't know.”You ask, “Do you want some Chinese food?”“I don't know.”“You want Mexican?” “How about …”

And the car is going every which way. You turn here, and you turn there. But you're not going anywhere. But have you ever decided the place you're going before you get in the automobile? It saves a lot of crooks and turns, doesn't it.

You see, once you know your life is under His control, you don't have to make so many little decisions because you have made that one big decision. Now, it doesn't mean you won't need to pray and ask Him for guidance, but making Jesus your Lord is the last independent decision you'll ever make.
