One of My Favorite Movies....

The Family Man is one of my favorite movies...especially this time of year. We watched it last evening....and I think it might even be on again tonight! Of course, one of the main things I love...is that I don't hate the end. It is one of those that I can watch every year, and I haven't gotten tired of it yet. Another thing I love, is when hubby is watching it with me. =) You know how that is....it just reminds me how much I have to be thankful for .....and he tells me that, too. Isn't he something? =) If you haven't seen it...be sure and catch it! =)

Michael and I spent the day bringing Christmas down from the attic. What I forgot, is I threw all the old strands of lights away last year, giving myself this year off of the tantrum I throw trying to get three 100 light strands to actually all come on. I wish I would have just went to one of the after Christmas sales and picked some up last year. Now that naked tree is standing there embarrased to be in front of the window, and Michael has been walking around with two Sesame Street ornaments, trying to get away with putting them on the tree before lights and garland. I might give in before the evening is over. I can always take them off for a minute if they are in the wrong spot. I just know if Ernie and Big Bird get to find their spot, the rest of the gang is going to want out of the box. Got a lot done, so now I need to figure out what to fix for supper. I'll go ask menu man. Maybe Ernie and Big Bird will have a suggestion.......

I'm wondering what Ernie and Big Bird came up with. ;)

(ps, we watched that the other night, too. It takes my breath away every time...I was planning to blog about it, too-a certain scene that sticks with me)

Sounds like dealing with Mike and the tree isn't that different from our adventures :)

Big Bird wanted fish and Ernie wanted mac-n-cheese and Michael wanted green beans with all of that. I talked them in to fresh oranges for dessert instead of begging for more of the coveted frozen Christmas cookies =)
