Sweet Things...... =)

Spring cleaning continues and I found a cd in a drawer and wondered what was on it and this was the lone photo. I wish there was a date stamp, but I am guessing that it was about this time of year in 2001....miss Caroline. =) I got another sweet mug insert. This beautiful creation is from Cami. I'm having fun showing these off at work! =)

Grammy Fix

Cami and Calvin came out yesterday and spent the night. They are so much fun. I can't believe what a happy boy Calvin is turning in to!!! He normally has some unhappy moments here and there and the only time he fussed at all was the moment I set him down in the bath and it was over as soon as the rubber shark showed up! =) When they went down for a rest...Calvin fell fast asleep and Cami was laying down reading books on the living room floor....uh..well...she read a few books and found the book about painting cute things on your nails...which also has the polish with it. She did a great job. There was not a speck of polish any where but her fingernail....many layers of polish. But the nice thing with this is it peels right off. She had it all off in a couple of hours. =)
They played for a couple of hours outside. It was such a nice afternoon. The swingset is always the first thing they go to. Calvin was going to go down the slide and changed his mind when he got to the top. He did not want me to help him go down. He just wanted to climb back down. He played with a basketball for a while while Cami decorated the driveway with chalk then I got out the riding toys.

I thought of a new game for them. They spent about another hour riding the toys down the hill to the shop and pushing them back up and heading back down again. After supper and baths, they were fast asleep at 8 pm. Grammy and Grandpa popped popcorn and watch Mead take state in the boys high school basketball tournament!!

Happy Birthday Calvin!!

......And a few more favorites from the last couple of days..... Happy 1st Birthday, Calvin!!

....Cuppiecakes turned into elmo....

Cuppiecakes.....

A few more photos from the Thursday bakers. They did a great job.... I decided to put the batter in a shorter dish so they could see it better and not have to lift it over the tall edge of the mixing bowl
They did a great job filling the papers...
....and thought the strawberry cake batter was pretty tasty...
That's all I want to fiddle with tonight..
Most of these turned into an Elmo Cupcake cake...I'll post those photos later.
We celebrated Calvin's 1st birthday (tomorrow) and Cami's 3rd birthday (Saturday) this evening with a chicken and rice supper and Elmo cake and ice cream and a little gift opening..

We're Havin' Fun Now! =)

Just a couple of photos from yesterday. This one of Cami and Calvin was taken in the neighbors back yard. We got several nice photos..will post more later... =) Thought I would share this one of the girls playing outside. Rylie is still quite afraid of our cat, but Cecil the Diesel has been such a good boy and has kept himself pretty hidden. I have spotted him, but thankfully, Rylie has not .........until this morning when she saw him under the deck.

I'll share some more later. The girls just helped me fill the cupcake papers and are now in playing with the dolls and tea set. We made big cupcakes to put together an Elmo cupcake cake and some little 'tea' size cuppie cakes for a nice afternoon tea party...after we get them frosted later. The time is going fast already! We had a slumber party on the livingroom floor. I found that they both talk in their sleep and roll all over. (They would probably tell on my snoring if I let them write a line....=) They were up around 7, had breakfast and we all took Michael to work before coming back to start our baking. Well...better go check those cuppiecakes... =)
