We took a nice drive on Saturday. We headed east on "the 60" out to Superior. Thc scenery was so beautiful and felt like a warm spring day. Rylie took a nice nap on the way out.
We went through a "weeeeee tunnel" out there. When the kids were little, we always went through a little tunnel under some railroad tracks, when we went to church. We always called it the "weeeee" tunnel. "Ready, ready, ready, ready.....weeeeeeeeee" we would say every time as we stared through. They built an overpass in the past few years and that road was taken out, but we still do that every time we pass through a tunnel or sometimes over a long bridge and you have to 'weeee'....holding it, until you get to the other side. Of course, Dad/Grandpa would always slow down until you were about blue, before reaching the other side.
After spending some time on the other side of the tunnel, admiring the gorgeous views, we turned around and went back to Superior and stopped at an old Dairy Queen and had some ice cream treats. We love those little trips out and about. There are a lot of things to see and do down here and these little trips are some of our favorite.
(the slide show was being stubborn and not letting me type below it...so wrote this in a new window...)

I'm about ready for a nice spring drive to the tunnel!!! The wind is whipping at about 40 mph gusts tonight with wind chills below zero.
At 10:00 this morning, I went to the grocery store wtih no coat, just a sweatshirt! It was 58 degrees!
The Lord must be going to return quickly! AMAZING!
p.s. I "lika" your banner!
That banner is absolutely beautiful, Sandy!
