I can still do it.....well, kind of.... =)

Well, I will admit right away that the first thing I did was do exactly what hubby told me not to do...bog the tractor...and I killed it. No, he did not yell at me, but he did decide to ride a round with me to make sure I could actually run it again. I did fine.
I wish the monitors would show up better here. What I hate to admit is this is disking for dummies. All I have to do is turn around, push the GPS button so the tractor knows where it is at and lower the disk and take a nap if I want until it gets clearrrrrrrrrrrr to the other end and then it beeps to say you only have 75 more feet to the fence...so wake up. It is a bumpy ride...so I didn't even attempt any bookwork. I did take my little mp3 player along and listened to a study and some music. After a little over two hours, I had my field done. My better half had most of it done while I was running for parts for him......
Kate commented in the last post, if I get any sleep because I posted before 6 a.m. I knew I had a busy day, so I got up about 5:30 and did my devotion and exercised my shoulder. On Mondays I email the Sunday School prayer requests to our class. I then packed our lunches and jumped in the shower. Michael got up and ate and got ready for work. Steve ran a tractor to the field and I picked him up and ran him back over to another farm 10 miles away to get his pickup and came home to get Michael to run him to work. By now it its 7:40 and I am already 10 minutes late....so I should have started about 15 minutes earlier.

If you ever look at my posts throughout my blog...they could be at any time of the day or night since I have had this shoulder problem. It is almost clockwork that I get up at 4 am and heat up a rice bag and put heat on it for about 30 min so I can get another hour or so of sleep. It is getting better, but I still have pretty strong pain in the night. I used to be so much worse, so I am thankful it is coming along!

After I dropped Michael of and went to therapy, I drove an hour to pick up parts. Some of them were the wrong thing. Well, if you only live a mile or two away, it is not such a big deal, but when it is over an hour from our house...it IS a big deal.
.......so he called and I am heading back to Columbus to get the right parts. They promised to reimburse us for $25 gas...that will help.......come on Michael...I want some company this time.... =)
