So much of New Mexico is just rocks and shrubs...this was just beautiful....the photo doesn't do it justice..... I love these trips. We always get into one of those "makes your head hurt to think about discussions" ...like do you suppose there are other "earths" and when I get to heaven, I want to ask God why so much of the earth looks like this....and what in the world do you suppose the pioneers thought when they traveled across this barren land heading to California?....

We got our "stuff" in and headed to the store for groceries...my least favorite thing to do when we get here. Brian came for supper and had a nice visit. I take him to the airport this morning to send him to Amy until Sunday.

We are heading out for our morning walk after I do my shoulder exercises, and hubby has breakfast.
Got a nice surprise call from Alison at my therapy clinic. She said I was late for my appointment...come and get me, Alison!! .....are you coming down now? Hi to all there! =) It is nice to be missed! =)

Uh, oh!! It's snowing in Nebraska?! I'd better call our neighbor and ask him to scoop (if it's deep) I'd love some of that warm weather Mama-blow some over this way for a few days ;)

Brian arrived safely THIRTY FIVE minutes early! PTL we were tracking his flight so we could call and get Dennis to leave for the airport early! They had a nice drive back home...Amy and I had dinner ready for them when they arrived, she had made a perfectly soft batch of Scotcharoos for Mr. Wonderful...watched American Idol...then Dennis and I got the boot for the evening. What on EARTH do they need to be alone for? LOL! I'm just hearing giggling and talking...like there is so much to catch up on! I mean, afterall, they haven't talked on the phone since last night!
Seriously...it's GREAT to have him here. No photo's tonight...just a tired boy and an excited gal with a grin from ear to ear.
