Date Night.... =)

Had a busy and fun day yesterday! Went to town and picked up niece, Renae, and we went to see her dorm room and walked and shopped a bit in the Haymarket area and then her dad, Curt, met us and had lunch at a cute sandwich shop.

Michael and I then went to church and set up for a wedding tonight at church and then cleaned our section of the auditorium and came back home for about an hour so I could do my exercises.

McDonald's was Michael's choice for supper, so we just drove through and he ate on the way to Omaha, where we attended "Elmo Grows Up" at the Quest Center. It was an excellent show and he was pleased as punch that Ernie patted him on the shoulder as he danced by. We had great seats again this year and everyone is always so friendly. It was not only fun to watch his enjoyment, but of the other little ones around us. No wonder the characters are still his friends after all these years!

I serve at the wedding this evening and then have around 30 coming (with the little guys) for supper and Crazy Bridge tomorrow night, so busy with that today.....but looking forward to the kids and grand babies coming out and having food, fun and fellowship! =)

So good to hear that Ernie gave him a little pat on the shoulder, I know he is hopeful of interaction when sitting that close. I expect we'll be seeing the program on Sunday at church (as he happily displays it for all his buddies to see) :)

I'm wondering when it will be my turn to get down to campus and explore with that cousin o' mine. I'm glad you got to meet up with Curt for lunch.
