We had a few friends over for food, fun and fellowship. Carol brought a big pot of yummy barley beef soup and snacks, Jackie brought a big pot of cheesy vegetable and more snacks, and Pat brought a big yummy layered pudding dessert! It was Mike and Pat's 37th Anniversary.
Happy Anniversary!! =)
We split the Pegs and Jokers game... men at one end and women at the other. The women played three games in the time the men played two. Looks like there was a little food swiping going on too.... =)
We spent as much time laughing as we did playing cards!
Ron had to leave to go to work, so we put the game together for seven and played at the round kitchen table...and turned the tv on and waited for the midnight ball to drop. We rang in the new year together and played until a little after 1am. Thanks for coming! It is fum making memories with all of you!! =)

Awwww...looks like so much fun!
Dennis gave up around 11:30...
Amy was on the phone until who knows when...
So I rang in the new year by myself..trying to learn how to do this better!
I LOVE your banner! So festive! You have a lot of teaching to do next month missy! Up to it?
Who in the world was Amy talking too into the wee hours of the night anyways? ;-)
Those gatherings were so fun growing up. Sure miss the food, laughter, and conversation!
I notice that Brian mentions the FOOD first...I think Amy and Cheryl shall have to spoil him with tasty treats when he arrives there in a couple weeks. Don't forget the scotcharoos :)
I'm glad you had a fun time together! We played crazy bridge at our little shindig-that was fun!
Hey Kristin...
Amy made Brian scotcharoos last time he was here!
I'm thinkin we'll have Apple Cobbler the next time he comes for a visit!
Sound Good? Come on up!
mmmmmmm....apple cobbler is the BEST! What do ya say, Brian?
Apple cobbler is great! Bring it on! :)
I don't think you gals will have to try to hard to find any dessert that he wouldn't love! He is pretty easy to please! =)...he does have a story about one of Kristin's apple crips that she made for her brothers though...remember that, Brian?? =)
(I know Kristin does =)
Well, it wasn't my fault, I tell you! All Mom had around the house was instant oatmeal packets and it ended up looking quite a lot like meatloaf. (yet, come to think of it, I don't remember any good comments on how it tasted, either.)
The apple cobbler sounds great, Harvey gals! :D
Nothin wrong with oatmeal packets! I've used those on occasion myself! Add's fiber...and that HAS to make it healthy!
REMEDY: Top with ICE CREAM!
Ice cream belongs on the side... I am weird, but I like them separated... too much like whipped cream when on top! I know, I know, I am weird that way! :)
