This is one major thing we are going to miss when we head back north. We walk somewhere almost every day down here, and the landscaping is just gorgeous everywhere! These waterfalls are just out on the main road in front of our housing area. We were going to get Brian and Amy to do a photo shoot here, but just never got it done.
It is about a mile and a half to this mall where Michael's favorite store, Barnes and Nobel, is. The lake is across the street from the waterfalls. Behind the waterfalls is a resort. The first year we rented a condo, we stayed on this side and had a pass to the resort and clubhouse. We came over to swim many times...(I should say the guys did...I did a few times...) It was about 48 degrees when we left at about 9 am. When there is no wind and it is sunny, a sweatshirt or jacket is all that is needed. I'm sure hot weather is just around the corner for them. We are enjoying every minute before we head back to the tundra!! =)
