I needed to red0 a mug that Michael accidentally put in the sink and it got wet. My new mug insert for the rest of summer......The dining area of my kitchen is now tyler taupe! I got everything off the walls in the kitchen and got them wiped down and ready to go! I only had time to paint those three walls and still need the second coat on two of them. I stopped so I could get my mowing done and needed to go out and help hook up a trailer with cute farmer dude.
We then buzzed up to Fremont to visit Aunt Verna in the rehab part of the hospital this evening. She has lost a lot of weight and is still getting some care, but she says she is feeling a lot better and would sure like to get back home. My Dad is also in the hospital in KC, MO. I got a call from Peg yesterday. He had stopped eating and was having some other problems. She is also having some health problems. She will be taking therapy for pain in her back. I am so thankful that her daughters are nearby there, but sister,Toni, is also battling health problems. Please keep them all in your prayers.
I stay all day at church and the guys are going to a tractor pull at David City in the afternoon/evening. It is supposed to be the hottest day of the week......feeling like 100+. I'm glad I will be in the air conditioning! We have VBS this week...my last year. The rooms will get decorated today and craft areas set up. I have a couple of young visitors coming with me all week. It will be fun spending some time with them and hope they have fun!!
Hope to get my painting done in the next couple of evenings....then I'll post a photo! It is sure different than my 20 years of eggshell white!!! I am in style now!! =)

Looking forward to seeing that transformed kitchen! Are you planning some new window treatments, too? I need some ideas for our house! When you get here, we'll have to go shopping!!!
I'll be praying all goes smoothly with VBS and especially for the hearts of the little ones there and the seeds planted. Post pictures from that if you get the chance, and tell everyone hi from us and that we hope to join them again next July for VBS!! :)

Our flight out of KC was cancelled due to a part breaking (and WE are thankful)but we didn't get home until 12:30 AM! I'll be a tired girl in the AM, but had to check blogs! 4 days without...howEVER did I do that? LOL!
