Our 4th Party

I think there were 18 of us, plus the six Malm's & friend, came for a while for a visit. We ate, visited, played, ate...ate... =).

The day couldn't have been more beautiful. It was about 80° and light wind and got a little cloudy in the late afternoon, so the players weren't standing in the hot sun, as the usual 4th pitching tournament.

Michael & Jacob were the tournament winners and Greg and Grandpa got the second prizes. (The prizes were microwave popcorn and honey roasted peanuts).

We set up the chairs at dusk and we can see about 20 different fireworks shows from our hill (from extravagant to small displays), on the eastern horizon, from south to north.

It is always a fun day!

COME ON ALL YOU LURKERS......what did YOU do for the 4th???? =)

Wow, that's a lot of fireworks shows!! Congrats to Michael and Jacob for pulling out the gold for the horseshoe tourney. I'm sure if we were there, I could've managed 12th place EASILY!!! ;)

How great to see those bright smiling faces!!! Looks like you had a blast! (ha!)

We went to A & A's for a cookout. Only saw skyworks from a distance, but they were sure pretty out in the dark country! Much different when you look at them from a distance with no city lights to distract you!

Missin' Arizona...but looking foward to some holidays ahead with them!
