Cup.cake Cake

A sweet young friend is having a birthday on Saturday, so I asked her mom yesterday what kind of cake she likes. She said angelfood or chocolate. She is having a slumber party tomorrow night, so I thought I would put her a little cup.cake cake together and take it to her mom at work tomorrow and she can take it home for them. I finished printing her name album but don't have it all put together yet. Hope to get that done yet today as well and give it to her for her birthday...

I'll bet those are better than the cake I made for Amy! Her's was a disaster...but I kept eating frosting till the last day there, then finally dumped the rest in the trash. Just as dry as the desert!!! :(

Beautiful cake! It's so flat on top...happy birthday, Ashton! Hope the party's a blast. :)

Is it so flat on top because of all the delightful frosting, perhaps?! Thanks for the tips on this yesterday, Mom. I think it'd be perfect for Ray's "french farmers" cake! :D

That is what is nice about a cupcake cake....just set them close together on a tray and frost like a regular cake with a bit more frosting....=) ...and when ready to eat..just pull one off and have at it! =)

I love this idea! I've seen them in the bakery dept looking cute and now I may just be able to do one myself. Although, I'm pretty sure mine won't be dear as perfect as this one. Good things I have birthday boys that are easy to please. :) Thanks for sharing this idea.
