Tomatoes.....

I stopped by Steve's folks yesterday and brought back this nice box of tomatoes. After I got back this morning I canned them and got seven quarts. Yum...more vegetable soup to be made. I made my usual homemade tomato soup for lunch with a cup of the tomatoes. I dropped off Alison's birthday pops to her. She loved them and had them hidden under the desk when I left to make sure no one swiped any. You are a hoot, girl! =)

That Alison is a lucky, whoops, I mean BLESSED gal! Happy BD Alison! I know you are a very special lady to Sandy! You got what I wanted for my Birthday! :)

And looks like your mister is going to get what he wants this winter too...homemade vegetable soup with the best tomatoes around!

I have several laid out here, but not a canner full yet. Ally's got my canner anyhow...so I'll have to wait or can mine at her house. She's only got FIFTEEN tomato plants! Ha!

You guys are hilarious. The tomatoes looks so pretty...and the cupcake pops are SO adorable! What a treat for her. Love the boquet, and how you individually wrapped them.

OH...stay tuned my dear family!!!

I think I shall prepare this for our Labor Day picnic!

Blog pics to follow!!

Amy, get the paper in your printer filled up...I know you'll want to print off several copies for all your Bible study gals! They'll be beating your door down for the recipe!

(guess I could post that on her blog but now that wouldn't be as fun, WOULD IT?)
