What I know...

The suburban should be ready by noon tomorrow. They have the new transmission sitting under it. They need to get the lines completely flushed and have been doing that for over an hour (it usually takes 20+ minutes but they keep getting 'grindings' and want to make sure it is all clean).

The nurse called back with questions for me. She wanted to know exactly how much meds Michael is taking and did not know/ have results of his blood work taken the morning of the CAT scan. She was going to call the hospital and see if she could get the results of the blood work and see if we still had room to increase his meds. Steve was on the phone quite a bit this afternoon, so if she did call back we didn't get it. I called at 4:30 and they were already switched to the answering service and he said he would give them the message. I won't hear until the morning.

I visited with her a bit about the possibility of him being 'triggered' by being too close to televisions and she didn't seem to think that was very likely, but more possible that his meds are just not covering..... Will see what they come up with after reviewing the labs.....

I'm not sure if we would even try to head out tomorrow or just wait now until Thursday morning and get there late Friday. ...............

Hope you can connect with the dr's and nurses to figure something out there...thanks for the updates. Sure are thinking of you with these details to get wrapped up and praying for your decisions with that...at least it's only a few days and not a week's delay!

We too are praying for the details to get wrapped up. Trusting the Lord had a good reason to keep you around in the cold another day or two...I always look on the bright side, even in SUBZERO WEATHER! Ha!

Doesn't it take a couple three weeks or so for some of those meds to load? Just a thought. Praying for a clear answer (if there ever is one!) so you can leave without worry. Who knows...Mayo's is close! Maybe they could be of some help!?!?!?

Drive safely and let us know when you arrive! (I'm sure my daut carrying the "Mexican baby" will keep us privy to your whereabouts!

love you!
