After we got back from Lincoln, I thought it was much too quiet in the house, so I went out and got the mower going and mowed the yard, came back and put a potato salad and baked beans together and grilled hamburgers for supper. I also put a big batch of fruit cups in the freezer (it is supposed to be in the 70's and 80's the rest of the week). I work tomorrow and Friday.
Cute farmer only has a couple more rounds on the Tarpenning corn and he will move to a different farm tomorrow.....probably Proctor's bottom 80. There is so much new stuff on the planter this year, and I am glad he is getting it all figured out. He did have a hydraulic hose break this afternoon and squirt about 2.5 gallons of oil all over the planter. You can imagine what his clothes look like every night when he comes in. They have to be washed alone and he HAS to have a shower every night..he is dirty from head to toe!!
Well, off to bed...5:30 comes pretty fast..... =)
