As they drive through the field, there is still standing water (right ahead of them here as they are unloading...)
The auger wagon had to turn around just seconds after taking this photo because the tires started spinning and he almost got stuck....
These bales are on our east road a half mile north of our house. I always they look pretty scattered across the field....
The farm that they are picking corn on is just north of this road. This is a field road, but this is how muddy it is in the field they are picking in....you can just see it better without all of the corn husks covering the top of it.....I just heard them say they are quitting here and moving over to the beanfields by brother Steve. They still have a little over 200 acres of beans to harvest. I don't remember us ever having soybeans in the field this late in the year. I pray we finish before the next rain (70% chance on Thursday).

Yay for the sun and clear skies! The pictures are sure pretty, we'll pray also for the beans to get out before Thursday!
Isn't the sun wonderful? Hope it continues! Maybe Thursday's forecast will turn out wrong. I know the guys will work long and hard the next couple of days - we'll be praying for good progress and no breakdowns.
