Well, we are very thankful that Steve's test results have ruled out the real bad things, cancer, etc. What we did find out is that they still aren't sure what it IS. It still appears to be related to a mold, from the only test that came back so far that wasn't negative. There are still many 'culture' tests that the results are not back yet. His white count is up a bit and another level in his blood that would indicate some infection...normal is around 20 and his was in the 40's. He wants Steve to see the 'Infectious Disease' Dr. next. He is scheduled to see her next Tuesday morning. He is also scheduled to go back to the lung Dr. in late December and will probably get another CT scan at that time. It is not impossible that it could just improve on its own, but he thinks this other Dr. will study his results and recommend treatment. There is also the possibility that he will need to have a surgical biopsy done still (we are not looking forward to that) but will again, wait to see what this next Dr. recommends....
We are thankful we live this close to Drs and hospitals, and in all, the Lord knows exactly what he has and how this all will turn out!!!
