Gilbert Condo Photos....

We hope to get the keys this week and I think I have some paint picked out, as I think the walls are too white. It was all just freshly painted, but I want to do a few things, and it needs curtains and an area rug. We bought the furniture from the condo we have been renting the past four years as Denise and Greg want to just rent it out full time instead of doing the vacation rental thing. They moved to CA a couple years ago and it is too hard with no one here now. Steve is planning on re-doing the fireplace..not a favorite for either one of us. =) Will be fun to post photos when it has the furniture in and maybe a few Amy touches, too!! =)

Yay for paint! ..and that fireplace re-do will be SO worth it...something clean and new and updated, it really makes the room. Gotta show us the 'after' shots when they get done!! :)

What a nice place! I know it'll look even better once you and Amy get done with it. :-) Congrats!

Oh...that's gonna be a WONDERFUL place to stay each winter!! Can't wait to see what colors you choose! That kitchen is so nice with the extra cabinet/buffet area! Your AZ daut is just the perfect one to give you some help on that! Leave her with a couple hundred $ and when you return, you might not even recognize it!! : ) Wish I were there to help!

I picked out some paint (sand dune from Sherwin Williams). I have decided not to use the King size bed comforter and drapes. The gold is fighting everything and tired of trying to make it work. I am looking at browns and maybe teal/ blue in the master. Found a shower curtain at the Home Goods store, and maybe a king set at Stein Mart with a 20% off coupon, but want to make sure it isn't a 'snaggy' fabric. I think we finally get the keys tomorrow. We popped in for a few minutes late this afternoon. I'm still watching Craig's list for rug and heading back to a rug closeout store now that I have reds out of my head. Just doesn't work with the tile..leaning more to the browns/ blues/greens, so starting over...ack!!

Browns, blues and greens will be soothing down there in that heat!! I can't pick out a green to save my soul, so you're on your own with that color! ha!!! You can create a nice "spa" feeling for your master bath...won't that be nice?? Of course, you could always do a nice white matlasse' for your bedspread, but might not fare well if you rent the place out. Could get kinda dirty with careless folks coming for a visit.
So anxious to see what you're gonna do with it!!
