1. One that still haunts me..... I stole a cheap birthstone ring when I was about 4th grade from a store in downtown Lincoln. I was plagued with nightmares for months and never did wear it and don't remember what I ever did with it. I wish I would have had the guts to return it. I worried that the police were going to come for me for a couple of years. I am glad I learned my lesson early!
2. I have about 5 "magic" drawers in my house.....you know....junk drawers.....where what you are looking for will magically appear so you don't have to go buy one.
3. I sleep on the floor 99% of the time. I figured out that I like it better about 7 or 8 years ago. I even crawled to the floor at the motel this week. I can only sleep in a bed about an hour or two and down I go. Nice soft blanket tucked around my feet and two pillows .... MY pillows preferred ...and I am most happy.... I just can't find a mattress hard enough that still suits my dh, and we have tried them all.
4. I love to mow...but I do have a riding mower.
5. I do the farm books...but that is my least favorite thing to do in the office...(digital scrapbooking is my most favorite.... duh! =)
6. I refuse to keep score when we play games. (it is still that bookkeeping thing... =)
7. I don't like to dust....just ask Daut! =) She did a lot of dusting for me when she was home. =)(I guess I will blame it on my allergies, but I don't wear a mask to make it better, so will just admit I don't care for it much =)
8. I was homecoming queen my senior year about 134 years ago =)
(Just for you, Janna...scanned out of my old yearbook! =) All I know is....I'm glad I wasn't standing because everyone would wonder where my skirt was....remember those days the rest of you 70's gals? Don't tell me you don't, Sandy, Kathy, and Karen...I have proof with our wedding photos.... =)
9. I love shoes. (I gave away about 20 pairs to our clothing outlet and hoped no one would know they were all mine....with plenty left to spare in my closet). I had some of them from when I still worked at school ...well... over 15 years ago...
10. I have "lane disease". I know in my head what roads I will take and what lane I will be in when I go to town or the airport. I do not like driving in traffic...(I guess anything is traffic when you live 10 miles from even a grocery store...), so I am more comfortable having the plan in my head....

Ah yes...I remember those skirts well, and I think I know exactly which picture you're talking about. Good thing I had better looking legs back then!!! :-)
