We girls worked for several hours getting all of these cookies decorated. I think there were around 12 dozen total...
We had to grab photos fast, as this frosting has real butter in it...and it started melting fast! =)
Didn't they do a nice job decorating??

Aww, love your little box o' peeps there! Perhaps we'll squeeze in some time for Easter cookies this weekend, too. Adam's office is closed tomorrow and the kids' spring break starts tomorrow...so we plan to fill our weekend with fun memory makers.
What are the family Easter plans there in NE?
No Easter cookies here...but we ARE having Banana Split Cake for dessert on Sunday. Mom and Dad will be over for dinner after church. Just a small lil' Easter celebration with the 5 of us. Adam and Ally are going to his Aunt and Uncles this year.
But we have Fondue night tomorrow with them.

p.s. i got dried currents today!! and breadsticks. you just tie em in a knot and pull out their tail and clip them, right? Almonds in the face and currents in the eyebobs...and bake em? That's it?? Do you glaze them or anything?

I bake for about 17 minutes and then brush them with honey butter (2T melted butter and 1 T honey mixed together. I really like these with the oatmeal roll recipe, too. I can give you the real recipe for this bread, too, if you like. It makes 16 rolls.
