Storm this evening....

This storm was about eight miles north of us this evening. As we stood here watching this one, we could see scud clouds circling almost directly overhead...so we headed back in. There was a tornado just east of Greenwood near I80, so we will hope that KZ Co. is still there when we take Michael to work in the morning......how many more days until July?........................

I'm not sure if it was this storm, but please be in prayer for the boy scout camp that was hit just across the border in Iowa. There were four fatalities and about 40 injured from around 100 campers there. Its sounds like the camp was virtually leveled. I feel so bad for all of those parents trying to find out ..... There is sooo much power in these storms ...and soooo much rain. How can all that water float in the air that long??? We have had 9 inches of rain now in the last 15 days. The biggest in one shot was 3 inches. It is still thundering out there!

Wow, this picture is beautiful--there is something about t-storms that I'm enamored by. Just an awesome display of God's power, and knowing He's in control I always feel safe. (Still I'd hate to be in the thick of the storm.) Glad you guys are okay out there...

Amazing GLORY demonstrated in those clouds! (Amazing power as well!)

I don't remember a year there have been so many tornado storms!

That is one incredible photo. I just read about the Boy Scout camp this morning. May many come to His saving grace during this tragedy.

The HEAVENS DECLARE -- what a great photo and glad to know that you all are safe in the midst of the severe weather up there. It is SOOOO dry down here -- hasn't rained in well over a month. Kody has only had to mow once and even when he did that, there were clouds of dust puffing out from the mower because of how dry it is!
