Cupcakes and Cards.....

Alison (a friend from work) and her family are coming over for supper and cards tomorrow night. We planned to do this early in the summer and her husband, Travis, got very sick and ended up in the hospital. Well, stay well tomorrow, Travis, 'cause it's time to play cards!!

I guess they all loved Ashton's cupcake cake a couple of weeks ago, so thought I would just make another batch and will throw a potroast together and have it slowcookin' all day while I am at work.

We had a nice inch and a half of rain here this morning! It is cloudy, cool and very fall feeling. The guys are working on the combine, getting it ready for harvest....which will be here before we know it! We are so thankful for all the rain we received this year.

The guys and folks went out to Hus.ker Har.vest Days at Grand Island yesterday and said they had a great crowd out there. Lots of field days and farm meetings these days right before harvest....then the real work begins!! =)
