Prayer Request....

Please pray for Steve this weekend and next week. He has had something showing up in his lungs since spring when he had a heart check. They had originally thought he had Valley Fever when we were in Phoenix last winter and that it was still some of that "fungus" from that. They thought it had improved a bit after the original test and wanted him re-tested again in September. With this last CAT scan, the right lung came back worse, so they want to do a lung 'wash' and possibly do a biopsy if he thinks he needs to once he is down there looking. A scary part of this is that he needs to go off his Coumadin (Warfarin) for several days, running the risk of his blood clotting from his blood syndrome. Our family Dr. and the lung Dr. are discussing this today and getting back to us on exactly how they want to proceed. He will need to run over to the clinic each day and get his INR (blood draw/test) to see where his levels are at. They have to be low enough he would not bleed during the procedure, but high enough to keep his blood from clotting and causing another stroke.....plus....we still do not know what is going on in his lungs. We are ever thankful that we can rest on the fact that our Lord knows every detail!!!!
