Beautiful Frozen Fog.....

There was about 1/4 mile visability when we left to take Michael to work about 7:30 this morning. The trees were gorgeous. I had to get a couple snaps when I got back.... I had an appointment to get the oil changed in the suburban and get a haircut uptown in Wahoo later on. I stopped at the garage and they gave me a ride to the salon. After, they called and said it was about finished, so I walked the 8 or 9 blocks back to the garage. It was only about 10 degrees, but just a light south breeze, so I was dressed warm enough. The worst part, is all this 'fog snow' was dropping from the trees and the sidewalks were very slick. I almost fell five or six times!!

It has warmed back into the 20's during the day now, so not as bitter cold as the past couple of weeks. They say that was the end of the bitter cold...no more in sight....
It is Nebraska.....we are used to 'normal'. You know...normal is just the average of extremes...and we have plenty of those!!=)

Beautiful pics! Glad you got some snaps. I'm enjoying the sunny melting day and will get the kids outside after naps! Drive safely on your trip...
